Hurry Up and Slow Down
This book is lovely. The illustrations are really sweet and the story is just - beautiful. Following on from the classic fable "The Hare and the Tortoise" this books sees the Hare hurrying the tortoise thorugh everyday things such as eating and sleeping. "Hurry up and eat", "Hurry up and wake up!". Yet when it comes to bedtime and the bedtime story, then all Hare wants is for tortoise to "Hurry up and SLOW DOWN".
Love, Lies and Lizzie
A modern twist on the much-loved classic "Pride and Prejudice", this book is set in today's world and is book four in Rosie Rushton's series based on the novels by Jane Austen.
I love these books and cannot wait until "Dark Fire" comes out in July.
Shark Island
A combination of "Treasure Island" and "The Beach", this books is all about Luka, Ned and their parents and what happens when they go on the holiday of a lifetime. Things go terribly wrong on the idyll island of Kaitan when pirates come and burn down their house and kidnap Luka and Ned's parents. The boys must learn to survive on their own, whilst also trying to work out how to rescue their parents.
